New clip aims to fix leaky heart valves in high-risk patients

Summary
This early study tests a new device called the CardioMech Mitral Valve Repair System in 25 people with a leaky mitral heart valve (moderate to severe). Participants are at intermediate or high risk for open-heart surgery. The goal is to see if the device is safe and can reduce the leak, helping the heart work better without major surgery.
