Personal coach helps seniors rebuild strength after heart trouble
NCT ID NCT03922529
Summary
This study tested a special coaching program designed to help adults aged 70 and older recover after a heart-related hospitalization. The program provided personalized guidance to help participants start and stick with cardiac rehabilitation, which includes exercise and lifestyle changes. Researchers compared the coaching program to usual care to see if it helped people move better, feel more confident, and avoid return trips to the hospital.
