Can supervised exercise stop your heart from weakening after an attack?

NCT ID NCT07155928

Summary

This study aims to see if a structured, supervised exercise program (cardiac rehabilitation) helps the heart muscle recover and prevents long-term damage in people who have had a major heart attack treated with a stent. Researchers will enroll 100 stable patients and randomly assign half to a 12-week exercise program, comparing their heart structure and function to those who do not participate. The goal is to determine if this rehab can improve heart health and reduce future heart problems.
