Heartbeat timing may reveal hidden vessel disease
NCT ID NCT06969547
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether measuring how well the left side of the heart pumps in sync can help doctors diagnose microvascular dysfunction—a condition where tiny heart blood vessels don't work properly. Researchers will use a special imaging test (SPECT) to check heart timing in 75 adults with and without coronary artery disease. The goal is to improve diagnosis of this often-missed condition.
