Heart scan study aims to predict patient risks

NCT ID NCT04936867

Summary

This study observed 100 adults who were already scheduled for a special heart scan (cardio-CT) for medical reasons. Researchers tracked these patients over time to see how well the scan results could predict future health problems, like heart attacks or death. The goal was to better understand the link between scan findings, patient risk factors, and long-term outcomes to improve how doctors use these scans.
