New drug duo aims to stop kidney transplant rejection

Summary
This study tests two drugs, carfilzomib and belatacept, along with standard steroids and immune-suppressing medicines, in 25 kidney transplant patients who have signs of rejection. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can reduce harmful antibodies that attack the new kidney. Participants will be monitored for a year with regular biopsies and blood tests.
