Summary
This study looks at two different antibiotic treatments for burn patients who develop sepsis, a serious infection. Researchers want to see if one type (carbapenems) helps more patients survive compared to another type (noncarbapenem beta-lactams). The study involves 400 adults aged 21-60 and will also track side effects like C. difficile diarrhea.
