Summary
This study looked at how often certain gut bacteria (Enterobacteria) are resistant to a powerful group of antibiotics called carbapenems. Researchers tested samples from 287 patients in northwest France to find the rate of these resistant strains. The goal was to understand the problem better, not to test a new treatment.
