First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This completed Phase 1 trial in 16 healthy men tested whether taking carbamazepine (a seizure medicine) changes how the body absorbs and processes nerandomilast, an experimental drug for lung fibrosis. Participants received a single dose of nerandomilast with and without multiple doses of carbamazepine. The study measured drug levels in the blood to check for interactions, helping guide future dosing recommendations.
