Summary
This study tests whether teaching people with prediabetes how to count carbohydrates can lower their blood sugar levels and prevent type 2 diabetes. About 120 adults with higher-than-normal blood sugar will either get standard lifestyle advice or extra training on carb counting. Researchers will track changes in HbA1c, weight, and other health measures over six months.
