New 'Living Drug' trial seeks to reboot immune system to fight aggressive blood cancers

NCT ID NCT06208735

Summary

This is an early-stage study testing the safety and best dose of a new personalized cell therapy called CLIC-2201 for adults with B-cell blood cancers that have come back or not responded to standard treatments. Doctors will collect a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target cancer, and then infuse them back into the patient after a brief chemotherapy regimen. The main goal is to find the safest dose and understand the side effects, while also checking if the treatment shows any signs of fighting the cancer.
