Scientists test Cancer-Fighting cell therapy on devastating autoimmune diseases
NCT ID NCT07167537
Summary
This is an early-stage study to check the safety of a new treatment called OL-CD19-GDT, a type of CAR-T cell therapy, for adults with severe autoimmune diseases that haven't responded to other treatments. The study will enroll 44 people with conditions like systemic sclerosis or Sjogren's syndrome to see how their bodies handle the therapy and look for early signs it might help. The main goal is to understand the side effects and how the treatment behaves in the body, not to prove it works yet.
