First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment called AZD0120 for adults with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard therapies. AZD0120 uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target and destroy faulty cells that drive lupus. The trial will check safety and whether it can reduce lupus symptoms, but ongoing medication may still be needed.
