New Two-Pronged attack on tough childhood leukemia

NCT ID NCT06326008

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing a combination treatment for children and young adults (1-18 years) whose B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. The approach uses immune cells (CAR T-cells) from a donor, followed by a donor stem cell transplant, and then a second type of donor CAR T-cell. The main goal is to check if this multi-step process is safe and tolerable, while also looking for early signs that it might help control the cancer.
