Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether genetically modified immune cells can fight solid tumors in children and young adults. Researchers collect patients' own immune cells, modify them to better recognize and attack cancer cells, then infuse them back into the body. The study aims to determine if this approach is safe and feasible for patients whose cancers have returned or haven't responded to standard treatments.
