One-Shot treatment tested to control blood cancer without ongoing drugs

NCT ID NCT07333261

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a one-time treatment called BMS-986453, a type of CAR-T cell therapy, for people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who are not planning to have a stem cell transplant. The main goal is to see if this single treatment is safe and can help control the cancer for a long time, potentially replacing the need for continuous medication. The study will enroll about 25 participants to monitor their health, how well the cancer responds, and how long the treatment's effects last.
