One-Shot immune reset: early trial tests CAR-T therapy for debilitating muscle disease

NCT ID NCT06359041

Summary

This early-phase study is testing an investigational one-time cell therapy called CABA-201 in adults with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG), a rare autoimmune disease that causes severe muscle weakness. The therapy aims to reset the immune system by removing the harmful B cells thought to drive the disease. Researchers will primarily check if the treatment is safe and will also measure if it helps improve patients' daily function and muscle strength.
