Universal Cancer-Fighting cells tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT07248176

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of cancer treatment called universal CAR-T cells is safe and effective for adults with multiple myeloma that has returned or stopped responding to other treatments. The treatment uses specially engineered immune cells from donors (not the patients themselves) that target a protein called BCMA found on myeloma cells. Researchers will monitor six participants closely for side effects and whether their cancer responds to this experimental therapy.
