Experimental immune therapy targets Tough-to-Treat blood cancer
NCT ID NCT03758417
Summary
This study tested an experimental immune therapy called CAR-T cells in Chinese patients with multiple myeloma that had returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers collected and reprogrammed patients' own immune cells to attack cancer cells, then infused them back into the body. The main goals were to see how well the treatment worked and how safe it was for these patients who had few remaining options.
