Summary
This study tested an experimental cell therapy called bb2121 in adults with multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells. It focused on people whose cancer had come back after several treatments or who were at high risk of early relapse. The therapy involves collecting and genetically modifying a patient's own immune cells to fight the cancer.
