Engineered immune cells target cancer in groundbreaking lymphoma trial

NCT ID NCT01815749

Summary

This early-phase study is testing a new type of cell therapy for patients with high-risk or returning B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After receiving a stem cell transplant, patients get an infusion of their own immune cells that have been genetically modified in a lab to better find and attack their cancer. The main goals are to find the safest dose and understand the side effects of this experimental treatment.
