New hope for kids with leukemia that Won't quit: pioneering cell therapy trial begins

NCT ID NCT06709469

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing the safety and feasibility of two new types of CAR-T cell therapy for children and young adults with leukemia that has come back or hasn't responded to standard treatments. One therapy targets a common form of B-cell leukemia, while the other is a novel approach for a rarer, harder-to-treat T-cell form. The main goal is to see if these treatments can be made safely and are tolerable for patients who have very few other options.
