New hope for kids with aggressive blood cancers: experimental immune cell therapy trial opens
NCT ID NCT06173518
Summary
This study is testing an experimental treatment called Obe-cel for children and teenagers whose B-cell leukemia or lymphoma has returned or hasn't responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target cancer cells, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can put these aggressive cancers into remission.
