One-Shot cell therapy tested for Hard-to-Treat lupus and related diseases
NCT ID NCT06462144
Summary
This was an early, exploratory study to test the safety of a single infusion of a patient's own modified immune cells (CAR T-cells) for people with severe autoimmune diseases that did not respond to standard treatments. The trial aimed to see if this one-time therapy could help control diseases like lupus, vasculitis, and inflammatory muscle disease. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 3 participants.
