CAR T-Cell therapy targets hidden leukemia cells after chemotherapy

NCT ID NCT06144606

Summary

This study is testing whether KTE-X19, a type of CAR T-cell therapy, can help adults with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia who are in remission but still have tiny amounts of cancer cells detectable in their bone marrow. The treatment involves collecting and genetically modifying a patient's own immune cells to better recognize and attack leukemia cells. Researchers will measure how long patients stay cancer-free and monitor for side effects like cytokine release syndrome.
