New hope for kids with untreatable autoimmune diseases

NCT ID NCT07490041

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new cell therapy called CAR-NK for children with severe rheumatic diseases that haven't responded to standard treatments. Doctors will give a single infusion of these specially modified immune cells to see if it's safe and can help put the disease into remission. The study will enroll 36 children aged 5 and older who have conditions like lupus or juvenile arthritis that other drugs can't control.
