Scientists test 'Off-the-Shelf' immune cells to fight tough colon cancer

NCT ID NCT07462650

Summary

This study is testing a new type of cell therapy for adults with advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors will give patients immune cells (CAR-NK cells) that are engineered to recognize and attack two specific proteins found on their cancer. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this approach can shrink tumors.
