First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a magnetically-controlled capsule (a pill-sized camera) can safely and effectively check the stomach after surgery in elderly patients or those with other health problems. About 120 participants who have had stomach cancer surgery will either swallow the capsule or have a traditional endoscopy. The goal is to see if the capsule can find complications and is more comfortable for patients.
