Swallowable camera to spy on painkiller damage inside your stomach

NCT ID NCT06027060

Summary

This study aims to better understand stomach damage caused by common painkillers like ibuprofen (NSAIDs). Researchers will use a small, swallowable camera to look inside the stomachs of 180 people who either take these drugs regularly or don't take them at all. The goal is to see how often and how severely the stomach lining is injured, which could help guide safer medication use in the future.
