First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study compares a new capillary-action catheter to the standard tool for collecting fluid from the small intestine during upper endoscopy. 46 adults undergoing endoscopy will be split into two groups to see which method collects more fluid in less time. The goal is to improve how researchers study gut bacteria, not to treat any disease.
