Could a quick look at your fingernails speed up an autoimmune diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT06399822
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, non-invasive imaging test of the fingernail bed can help doctors diagnose specific autoimmune diseases sooner. It involves 40 adults who have early, unclear symptoms of a connective tissue disease. Researchers will compare if getting this test early leads to a clearer diagnosis within six months compared to usual care.
