Eye device study aims to sharpen cataract surgery precision

Summary
This study is testing a new device called Unity DX that measures the eye's shape and focus. Researchers want to see if these measurements can help plan cataract surgery more accurately. About 400 people having cataract surgery will take part. No treatment or medication is given—only measurements are taken.
