First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study follows 600 people having elective surgery to see how cannabis use affects their pain, nausea, anxiety, sleep, and need for painkillers. Researchers will compare cannabis users to non-users and check if patients' self-reported use matches blood and urine tests. The goal is to better understand how cannabis impacts surgery outcomes and how accurately people report their use.
