Veterans to test cannabis for PTSD relief in major new study

NCT ID NCT07224698

Summary

This study aims to see if inhaling cannabis can help reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in veterans. It will compare a high-THC cannabis product against a placebo in 320 participants who have had PTSD for at least six months. The goal is to gather stronger evidence about a treatment many people already use, but which lacks solid scientific backing from controlled studies.
