Could cannabis ease the burden of cancer symptoms?

Summary
This study aims to see if adding a specific cannabis extract to standard pain medication helps reduce the overall burden of symptoms in people with advanced cancer. It will involve 156 adults who are already on strong painkillers and are experiencing significant symptoms like pain, nausea, or anxiety. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the cannabis extract or a placebo for 8 weeks to compare their symptom scores.
