Scientists scan brains to see if cannabis really calms stress

NCT ID NCT05261321

Summary

This small, early-stage study aims to understand how commercially available cannabis oils affect the brain's response to stress and impulse control. Researchers are studying 20 healthy young adults who use cannabis and drink alcohol. Participants try different cannabis oil formulas and a placebo while undergoing brain scans and stress tests to see if the oils change their biological and psychological stress reactions.
