Scientists test how getting high changes your brain under stress
NCT ID NCT07296874
Summary
This study aims to understand how a moderate dose of THC (the main active ingredient in cannabis) affects a person's mood, stress response, and thinking skills. Researchers will recruit 90 adults who use cannabis at least weekly. Each participant will attend two lab sessions—one where they inhale vaporized cannabis and one with a placebo—to compare the effects on memory, planning, and emotional reactions to stress.
