First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a special lollipop called CandyCollect that collects saliva to detect Group A Strep (strep throat) in children ages 5-17. The goal is to see if it works as well as the standard throat swab test. Kids who already tested positive for strep will suck on the lollipop, and researchers will compare the results.
