First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual community health educator (vCHE) can help more cancer patients and their caregivers learn about and sign up for clinical trials. The vCHE is a computer character that speaks English or Spanish and offers personalized guidance. The goal is to increase referrals from underrepresented groups, who are often left out of cancer research. About 2,000 adults with cancer or their care partners will take part.
