Summary
This study aims to understand why adults who had cancer surgery are afraid to take their prescribed opioid pain medication after going home. Researchers will interview 50 patients from MD Anderson Cancer Center who were sent home with opioid prescriptions. The goal is to identify specific fears and barriers that prevent proper pain management during recovery.
