Can a simple fitness test predict your surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT00493688
Summary
This study aims to find out if measuring a patient's fitness level before major cancer surgery can help predict how well they recover afterward. Researchers will test lung and esophageal cancer patients using exercise breathing tests before and after their pre-surgery treatments. The goal is to develop better ways to assess surgical risks and improve patient safety.
