Scientists hunt for clues in patients whose cancer vanished
NCT ID NCT03728842
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients with advanced melanoma or kidney cancer experience a rare phenomenon where their cancer shrinks or disappears without treatment. Researchers are collecting blood samples and health information from these patients to study their immune systems and look for other factors that might explain this event. The goal is to learn from these rare cases to potentially help others in the future.
