Summary
This study tested whether community health navigators, working through video calls in American Sign Language, could help deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing adults complete recommended cancer screenings. A total of 184 participants aged 45-80 who were overdue for screening took part. The goal was to see if this approach increases screening rates and improves cancer knowledge.
