Pregnancy checkups may hold key to catching hidden cancer risk

NCT ID NCT07052266

Summary

This study is testing whether it's practical and helpful to offer cancer risk screening to people during pregnancy or fertility care visits. It will see if patients are interested in getting tested for inherited cancer genes, like BRCA, at the same time they get standard prenatal genetic tests. The goal is to find out if this approach can help catch cancer risks early, especially in groups that often miss out on this kind of screening.
