First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at cancer patients who have a blood clot in a vein just under the skin (superficial vein thrombosis). About 15-20% of these clots happen in people with cancer, but there are no clear treatment guidelines. Researchers will observe 1,576 patients to see how different blood thinners affect the risk of the clot coming back or causing more serious problems.
