Summary
This study tested an implantable pump that delivers pain medicine directly to the spine for people with hard-to-control cancer pain. It included 8 adults aged 40-80 with advanced cancer and severe pain despite strong painkillers. The goal was to see if the pump provides better pain relief and fewer side effects than standard treatment.
