Scientists test new 'Tumor Glow' scan in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT01697930
Summary
This is the first time researchers are testing a new experimental imaging tracer called F-Glutamine in people. The study aims to see how long the tracer stays in the blood and where it goes in the body after injection. If successful, future studies will test if scans using this tracer are better at finding tumors than standard scans. The trial includes about 67 adults with confirmed solid tumors or lymphoma.
