Glowing cancer cells: new drug lights up tumors for surgeons

Summary
This early study is testing whether a drug called CYTALUX, which makes cancer cells glow under a special camera, can help surgeons see endometrial cancer more clearly during surgery. The goal is to see if this helps find more cancer tissue that needs to be removed. About 10 patients scheduled for endometrial cancer surgery will receive the drug before their operation.
