Summary

This study aims to determine if a more detailed genetic analysis of tumors helps doctors choose better treatments for cancer patients. It will compare a standard genetic test with a more complex one in nearly 8,000 adults with advanced cancer who are starting their first treatment. The goal is to see if the extra information from the complex test leads to different treatment decisions that wouldn't have been possible with the standard test.
