Scientists map cancer genes to find keys to treatment

Summary
This study aims to understand the genetic changes in cancer cells by analyzing leftover tumor tissue and a normal sample from patients. The goal is to identify specific mutations that might predict how a tumor will respond to certain drugs. Researchers will track how these genes change over time during treatment to learn more about what causes cancer and why treatments sometimes stop working.
